Annapurna Circuit Trek starts from Besisahar. You will be allured by the scenic view of mountains and captivated by the graceful foamy waterfalls all the way through Manang before you reach Thorang La pass. Climbing up the hills leads you to the Marshyangdi valley where you will get to see herds of yaks and blue sheep grazing. During the the Annapurna Circuit Trek, you will get an opportunity to observe many lakes, gigantic cliffs, peaks, terrace farms, and village houses.

Thorang La pass, the gateway to Mustang valley from Manang is the ultimate point every trekker has their eyes set on. When you stand and roam your eyes around standing on the zenith, you will literally feel you are touching the mountains.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU (1400M

Welcome to Nepal! well, upon your arrival at the airport, a representative from the Himalayan Connection will greet you and take to the hotel. After having some rest you’ll join to team meet–up and pre-trip discussion. where you will meet your trek guide/leader before the Annapurna Circuit Trek start. at evening Himalayan Connection will organize welcome dinner with delicious Nepali cuisine and cultural show.

 

DAY 02: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING AND TREK PREPARATION

Camp: Thamel Kathmandu

Altitude: 1400m. / 4592 ft

DAY 03: DRIVE TO SYANGE (1100M) VIA BESISHAR 7-8 HRS

Camp : Syange

Altitude : 1400m /4592 ft.  –  1100m. / 3608 ft.

Main Attractions: wonderful drive along with the local market and river,  deep valley, organic cultivation, local lifestyle, beautiful waterfalls, etc.

DAY 04: SYANGE TO TAAL (1700M) 4-5 HRS

Camp : Taal village

Altitude : 1700m. / 5576 ft.

Altitude: 3300m. / 10824 ft

Camp : Muktinath

Altitude : 3760m. / 12333ft  (5416m)

Time: 7 – 8 hrs walk

Main Attractions: big day ( Thorong -la pass 5416m – highest point of the Annapurna Circuit Trek) breathtaking view of the high mountains from the top of the pass, wide high mountains desert valley. Muktinath ( biggest holy place of Hindu and Buddhist religion and more.

 

DAY 13: MUKTINATH TO MARFA (2670M) 5-6 HRS

Camp: Marpha

Altitude: 2670m. / 8758 ft

Time: 5 – 6 hrs walk

Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Main Attractions:  Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m) Mt. Nilgiri (7061m) Dhampus peak,  gorgeous Kali Gandaki (river) valley, miraculous Kagbeni. Jomsom high Himalayan city. ancient Marpha village, apple farm, apple brandy and industry, Thakali people and their culture.

DAY14: DRIVE TO POKHARA (827M)6-7 HRS

Camp: Pokhara
