About the Trek

Annapurna Circuit Trek starts from Besisahar. You will be allured by the scenic view of mountains and captivated by the graceful foamy waterfalls all the way through Manang before you reach Thorang La pass. Climbing up the hills leads you to the Marshyangdi valley where you will get to see herds of yaks and blue sheep grazing. During the Annapurna Circuit Trek, you will get an opportunity to observe many lakes, gigantic cliffs, peaks, terrace farms, and village houses.

Thorang La pass, the gateway to Mustang valley from Manang is the ultimate point every trekker has their eyes set on. When you stand and roam your eyes around standing on the zenith, you will literally feel you are touching the mountains.

From the top of Annapurna Circuit Trek, enjoying the victory of the climb, the climb leads downhill to the sacred Muktinath area, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for both Hindu and Buddhist religion. At the identical time, Yartung – the most famous festival is the major attraction for which many trekkers try to coincide their trek to witness as horse riding, archery contests and drinking are the major activities that are performed.

Moreover, Marpha – the relaxing village is a must to stay and relax if you would like to try homemade apple cider and freshly baked delicious apple pies. which is another beauty of the Annapurna Circuit Trek.
