About the Trek

Khaptad National Park Trek lies in the far western region of Nepal. The park holds a historical religious significance of saint, Khaptad baba who meditated and worshipped after moving here in the 1940s, spent as a hermit for 50 years, and became a renowned saint.

Khaptad Baba lived here for many years and found many medicinal herbal plants that would be used for the recovery of health issues. The ashram (hermitage) of Khaptab baba is famous where Hindu pilgrims go to visit every year in July-August for worshipping Lord Shiva.

Khaptad is a beautiful trekking and research place for humankind. The Natural beauty of this region and tranquility gives us a profound way of thinking of innovative ideas. If you are really bored with mundane life and want to live in a new world, then this can be your destination.

.
