He met us at the airport, arranged a hotel in our preferred neighborhood, arranged private jeep transportation to and from our trek in Langtang. Some people may tell you that you don't need a guide to trek in the Langtang Valley -- don't listen to them. There were tons of little (and big) adjustments that needed to be made, and we could never have done them without Sujan. Sujan even cooked for us in several of the tea houses to ensure that everything was perfect! He was sensitive to my pace and tentative knees -- always supportive and never made me feel "slow." He's also a professional photographer, so we actually have pictures "of"us, not just "by" us. We were in great hands. I cannot imagine doing it without him.
If you read the reviews for Sujan and Himalayan Connection, you'll see that he has lots of repeat customers. That's testament to Sujan's professionalism, skill, knowledge, and great personality. Once you've trekked with Sujan as your guide, you've got a friend in Nepal for life. I can't say enough good things. Himalayan Connection might not be the biggest or the oldest trekking outfit in Nepal, but no one will take better care of you on your trek.

When one of our party had to return to Canada part way through the trek, Sujan was instrumental in ensuring he got back to Kathmandu quickly and safely while the rest of us finished our trek. In 2019, we did a 30-day trek in the Tsum Valley and Manaslu and Annapurna Circuits. Again, he helped us make the most of a challenging but incredibly rewarding journey.
