Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. You can spend the day exploring the city or resting to acclimatize to the high altitude which is required for the rest of the trek to Everest Base Camp Trek with Island Peak Climbing

Day 2: Kathmandu to Lukla (2,804 meters/9,199 feet) and trek to Phakding (2,651 meters/8,700 feet)

In the morning, you will take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The flight takes about 40 minutes and offers stunning views of the Himalayas. From Lukla, you will start your trek to Phakding, following the Dudh Kosi River. The trail is relatively easy and takes about 3-4 hours to complete. You will spend the night in a lodge in Phakding.

At the base camp, you will have the opportunity to see the Khumbu Glacier and the famous icefall, which is the route that mountaineers use to reach the summit of Mount Everest.

Day 10: Hike to Kalapatthar and back to Gorak Shep

In the afternoon, you will return to Gorak Shep and rest in your guesthouse.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at the base camp and set up your campsite. You can spend the rest of the day acclimatizing and preparing for the climb.
